Born in 1938

After having completed grammar school, Dieter Kusch studied furniture design and trading at the University of Cologne. After a one-year traineeship in a major German bank, he went on to study wood technology at the Technical College in Detmold, where he already expressed a keen interest in design.

Dieter Kusch started working for the family business in 1963 and took over the company in 1969 after his father’s untimely death.

Apart from his function as managing director, he is still personally and passionately involved in the development and design of new series.
